Harrison Lake - 8/9/2008

The kids and I headed for a quick overnight at Harrison Lake in the Idaho Selkirks. It was a crazy trip!

We arrived at the trail head just before dusk, and almost had to headlamp it into the lake.

This is called the beehive. It is a huge granite outcropping.

The night we stayed there was a huge thunderstorm and rain storm. At one point there was a small creek of water flowing underneath our tent! The next morning was pretty nice.

The morning was a bit wet. We didn’t really hang around much and headed out the next morning.

Dexter had fun!!!
